What is Rooted in Love Devotion?
Rooted in Love Devotion is a short devotional written by teen girls and young women. The devotional is sent out once a month by email. Addison Snode and Laurice Murdock started Rooted in Love Devotion to be a blessing to other young woman like themselves. Their desire is to encourage others in the Lord, and to point them to the Word of God. Both of them look forward to studying God's Word with other teen girls and young women through the monthly devotions! They would be grateful for your prayers as they strive to help others.
Ephesians 3:17-19
"That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all fulness of God."

Here's This Month's Devotion
Laurice Murdock
I was born June 16, 2007 and grew up attending church any time the doors were open. When I was fourteen years old, my family moved to Germany as missionaries. It was not until I was fifteen years old that I accepted Christ as my personal Saviour. I was baptized about a year later in a kiddy-pool behind our church plant's building. From then on, God has greatly been shaping me into a usable vessel for His glory.
Addison Snode
I was born November 14, 2008 and have been attending church ever since. My family planted a church in Cranberry-township, Pennsylvania when I was four years old. After I turned five years old, I started thinking about death. If I died, where would I go-heaven or hell? Soon after I accepted Christ as my Saviour, and since then I have loved Him so much. About a year later, I was baptized by my dad in our church. Though I have failed the Lord, I am thankful that He has been faithful, even in the hardest times.
How we met
Addison Snode and Laurice Murdock met when the Murdock family visited the Snode's church in August 2020. A friendship grew after spending only a Sunday together. The two of them continued to keep in touch even after the Murdock's move to Germany. Having much in common, including their mutual love for God and helping others, allowed them to encourage each other in their ministries- one in America and the other in Germany. Through various aspects, Laurice and Addison hope to impact many souls for Christ.
